Upon further review of the ultrasound, baby conley proved he was Rich's child(not that anyone was questioning that). This fun photo was also posted by Boston.com in their baby photo section leading up to the Superbowl. Go Patriots!

First Ultrasound -- Big Success

Well we had our first ultrasound today. They said there was a very healthy heartbeat at 182 beats per minute. We are super excited about this and are relieved that all is well. They confirmed that our due date is August 24th and we are currently 9W+1. We celebrated with a breakfast at the Parkway Diner and then went out to look at baby products. It is amazing how much 'stuff' there is -- we will have to return for registry at some point in future, but will need to tap into someone who has done this before for some good advice.

All is great!! In the words of Matthew McConaughey -- 'We are stoked'.

Blood Test Confirms Pregnancy

On Friday 1/11/08 we did the official doctor's office blood test to confirm our pregnancy. As the variety of home pregnancy tests indicated - we are definitely pregnant!!! We have our first doctor's visit on 1/21 with the hope of hearing a strong little heartbeat. We pray each day that we will be blessed with a healthy little one.
