Liam's First Professional Baseball Game

Yesterday Liam went to his first professional baseball game. Grampa Tom and daddy took him to see the Lowell Spinners (Red Sox Single A). He did love the crowd and seeing all the people around, but he's very restless so sitting in the stands isn't his cup of tea. We all had a fun time and look forward to many return trips.

Liam is really walking now

Last weekend in Ohio Liam started to take some steps on his own. He's continued all week to take a few more and is getting comfortable with his new found skills. He mostly needs to pull himself up with a toy, wall, or anything but once on his feet he can walk 10 yards or so before giving up and sitting down. When he has his walking toys he is all over the place and even walked halfway to the park last night.

He now has 5 teeth and is eating more and more finger foods. He even had his first Happy Meal last weekend. He still does his bottle but prefers any carbs he can get -- bread, pasta, puffs are all among his favorites. He really eats just about everything you put in front of him. No one will acuse us of starving him.

We love our boy so very much and are so thrilled to see him grow up. It has gone by fast but we've loved it all.

Happy Fourth of July

Hopefully the sun will shine at some point this weekend. Liam and Val are heading to Ohio for a visit and won't be back until Tuesday. Rich is jumping around with a Red Sox game and then couple days visiting the Burke's in Atlanta. This was Liam a couple weeks ago --- maybe last time we saw the sun.
