Ultrasound from last month
With all the chaos of lfe with Liam and lots of stuff going on, we've been a little slow to get information up about the new baby. Here are the pictures from the ultrasound. Val continues to feel very good and has regained lots of energy and is starting to show a bit. So the baby must be doing well which is so exciting.
We have an appointment mid-April for the next ultrasound and the genetic counseling. As older parents we get lots of extra attention -- which is probaby good.
We have been tossing around names for both boy and girl. If we have a girl she'll probably be named Lauren. Boy names are harder as we like a few -- just saw another Brayden last weekend and like that; Ryan; and a few others still circulating through the brain.
We did some rearranging of furniture and have moved the crib into the office. That will eventually become the baby's room for at least a little while. Liam is sleeping in a bed (well a futon) in his room and that is going great. He falls asleep much better in there and sleeps through the night by himself most of the time.

Liam visiting Ohio
Liam is awesome! No really, he is a great little boy who is so much fun to be around. He loves to play, smiles and laughs often, is healthy, eats everything, sleeps pretty well, and is just a fantastic son. We do love him so very much.
We are in Ohio this weekend and it is amazing to see him interact with his Grandma Jenny, Grampa Terry, Cousin Halle, and Aunt Stacie. For a kid who hasn't seen them in many months, he has taken to them like relatives that live next door. He's loving his visit and family.
In general, here are some of his favorites de jour...

Liam is going to be a big brother
We are expecting ConleyBaby #2 in September. As we are just 13 weeks along it is too early to find out gender, but when we can we will find out. We are thinking girl but other than intuition no real medical evidence on that one -- alhough multiple people have said the ultrasound looks like a girl. :-)
More to come soon.
